Just check out Video where HowCast has described how we can turn an ordinary looking pizza box to a Solar Oven believe me I have two Solar Oven for my self and it works superb. The wow factor of the Solar Oven is it’s best turned out of waste

How To Turn a Pizza Box Into a Solar Oven on Howcast

Step 1: Draw a square
Using the ruler and black marker, draw a square on your pizza-box lid, leaving a 1-inch border from the edge of the box to each side of the square.

Step 2: Form the flap
With the box cutter or utility knife, cut through three sides of the square you just drew, leaving the line at the rear of the box attached. Fold the flap back so that it stands up when the pizza-box lid is closed.

Step 3: Cover the flap with foil
Cover the underside of the flap with heavy-duty aluminum foil, which will reflect sunlight into the oven. Glue the foil to the flap, smooth out wrinkles, and cut off any excess.

Step 4: Tape plastic sheet
With the scissors, cut two square pieces of clear plastic wrap, each 1 square inch larger than the flap opening. Open the pizza box, and tape one piece of plastic to the underside of the hole so that the plastic covers it.

Step 5: Tape second plastic sheet
Close the lid, and tape the second plastic sheet over the top of the hole, creating a window that helps keep the sun’s heat in the box. Pull both sheets taut as you tape them.

Maintaining an airtight box is crucial in keeping the oven hot.

Step 6: Layer the bottom with foil
Glue or tape a layer of aluminum foil to the inside bottom of your pizza box for insulation.

Step 7: Cover with black paper
Cover the foil layer in the box with sheets of black construction paper and glue them into place. The black base will absorb light and generate more heat inside your oven.

Step 8: Find best angle
Close the lid, and you’re ready to start cooking! On a bright day, place your solar oven outside in direct sunlight. Adjust the foil flap to find the best ray-reflecting angle, and use the ruler, a stick, or a hard-plastic straw to keep the flap propped in place.

If you want to test the reflective angles of your oven before you head outside, shine a laser pointer onto the foil flap to simulate rays of sunlight.

Step 9: Preheat
Preheat your oven by leaving it in direct sunlight for 30 minutes. The box’s temperature will reach about 200 degrees, so while you won’t be able to cook a roast, you can reheat cooked food, melt cheese or chocolate, or—if you have all day—prepare a veggie stew.

Step 10: Cook
Whatever you decide to cook, place it—on its own, or in a heat-safe container—in the center of the oven, so that it is directly under the plastic-wrap window. Close the lid, leaving the flap propped open, and check on your food every 15 to 30 minutes.

As we all knows after few decade current source of energy will exhaust. We all have to use that with extreme care and save the energy.

Here are few tips to save fuel and help to protect environment too.

Tips to increase mileage:
Hasty acceleration and sudden use of brake affects the mileage. One should skip these activities to prevent the damages of the system and wastage of gas. To increase your mileage, you should keep constant speed of your Vehicle.

- Avoid unnecessary trips using your Vehicle.
- Keep track on changes of your mileage.
- Try to avoid traffic jams while traveling for your work. In rush hours, there are most chances of wasting mileage.
- Do regular servicing of your Vehicle.
- In traffic jams or in case if you need to stay sometime at any place switches off your engine.
- You also have to take care about the fuel that you used in your Vehicle. It should be of good quality. Impure oil increases fuel consumption.
- You should take care of your Vehicle engine by regularly cleaning it.
- Always check air pressure in the tires. The maintenance of air pressures in tires prevents friction of tires on the road. Therefore, power used for acceleration is reduced and increases mileage of your Vehicle.
- You should choose flat and smooth roads having fewer stops.
- Prefer to go by highway. As the roads are flat, there are fewer chances of acceleration, traffic jams, and rush. It will definitely increase your Vehicle mileage.
- Do not keep your motorcycle idle. If you have set your daily tasks of using your vehicle, do not keep vehicle’s engine cold because it will consume more fuel than warm engine.

This five-part routine to extend the life of your computer is based on my experience since the early days of personal and “mobile” (Kaypro II) computers in the 1980s. It is equally applicable to both Windows- and Macintosh-based computers, although I use Windows XP as an example throughout this article simply because of its ubiquity. By computer, I also mean an office-based computer; if your computers are located in a dusty warehouse or a building under heavy renovation, step up the physical annual maintenance routine to be performed quarterly.

1. Verify Your Physical Setup

Just as it’s hard to keep a car in top condition out in a pasture, it’s difficult to keep a computer functioning well if it’s in a poor environment. There are three factors to consider: temperature, air quality, and electricity.

For most computers, room temperature should be between 60 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit (15.5 to 29.5 degrees Celsius) with a humidity level between 50 and 75 percent (to minimize any static buildup). While most offices are kept at this level during the day, check with your landlord to ensure when you leave at night that the heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning system does not rise above or fall below these levels.

Air quality is important because computers require air circulation to prevent overheating. There are two rules of thumb:

The vents on the monitor, case, and printer need a good three to four inches of space (roughly the width of your hand from thumb to pinkie) to get good air flow. Move them away from any cables or cubicle walls blocking them.

If you use air filters or ionizers, keep them at least two feet from the computer or any dirt or dust particles heading for the filter will be drawn into the computer.

Electricity is a key factor in determining the longevity of your computer. It’s akin to the oil, fuel, and coolant in your car’s engine: whereas poor or dirty engine liquids will take their toll on your car and shorten its life, so-called “dirty” electricity (brownouts, surges, sags, spikes, and so on) will damage your computer, and your files, far more effectively than any virus.

There are four steps you can take to create good electrical conditions for your computer:

Ask your local power company to provide you a power profile or graph with the range of electrical sags and spikes entering your building during a typical billing period (if you lease, you may need to ask your landlord to obtain this information). This will show you your problem areas and times. I recommend you obtain this report once per season or quarter. We discovered a spike in power that occurred at 8:32 a.m. every morning when the neighboring manufacturing plant started its production lines.

Get good surge protection with battery backup (also called an uninterruptible power supply or UPS). The typical computer needs a UPS that is rated at the 650-VA (390-watt) level; it does not necessarily need to be a “for business” model. What’s key is the amount of surge it can handle and whether the manufacturer offers a monetary protection guarantee. Plug only your computer case and your monitor into the battery backup portion, along with your docking station if you have a laptop. Everything else (including your printer) simply receives surge protection. This five- to 10-minute backup serves three purposes: it provides you with enough time to save your work; it allows you to assess whether you’re experiencing a momentary flicker or a longer outage; and, if you are experiencing an outage, it gives you time to turn off your computer.

After an outage, wait five minutes before turning back on your computer. If the power grid has problems, these will usually appear within three to four minutes after power is first restored.

Power sag problems can be discovered when your local printer suddenly outputs comic-book characters (“@#!l%^”, and so on) in the midst of printing. If a stand-alone battery backup for your printer doesn’t resolve this brownout issue, contact the power company or a company like American Power Conversion Corporation (APC) to work with you on battery backup options.

2. Verify Your Electronic Setup

Automation is the name of the game when it comes to preventive computer maintenance for the busy nonprofit (this is one area where automobiles are playing catch-up). There are three items that you must automate: virus protection, critical software updates, and computer firewalls that are either part of the operating systems (such as Windows XP’s firewall) or part of your antivirus software.

I recommend getting virus protection software that combines virus and spyware protection at a minimum; add the firewall option if you do not use an operating system with a built-in firewall. Critical updates are just that — software patches rated “critical” by the vendor; all other patches, enhancements, and updates can wait for the end of the year.

3. Monthly Preventative Maintenance

Once a month, perform two tasks: Clean your temporary files and empty your trash or recycle bin (you can do this with the “Disk Cleanup” utility in Windows XP) and defragment your computer (you can do this by running the Disk Defragmenter utility in Windows XP). Think of this as checking your oil, tire pressure, window-washer fluid, and clearing the kids’ toys out of your car.

4. Annual Computer Maintenance

Just as a car needs a tune-up once a year, so too does a computer. There are two aspects to this process: electronic and physical.

The electronic tune-up consists of the regular monthly maintenance plus a disk scan of your hard drives and a manual check of all software for updates. In Windows XP, utilize the Check Disk utility — check both boxes to fix file-system errors and scan for bad sectors.

For each application, such as Adobe Reader or Microsoft Office, check for updates using their built-in method or via the support or download section of their Web sites. Although you may not be required to do so, I recommend restarting your computer after each software package has been updated. This will allow the various bits of code to properly “register” with the computer and cause any error messages to be isolated to the last update you did (versus just “something”).

The physical tune-up, while short (it takes five to ten minutes from start to finish), might seem intimidating at first. Don’t let it scare you, though. There are only five simple steps: unplug, unplug, look, lift, and dust.

First, turn off and unplug your computer and your monitor. Next, unplug the rest of the cables from the computer case, including the network cable, the printer cable, and so on. Inspect the cabling for any broken or frayed bits. If you have a laptop, take out the battery. For desktop computers, unscrew the case (generally in the back) and lift it off (some computers, like Dell and HP, have flip cases that you open by pressing a plastic button).

Now, with the hose and bristle-sweep attachment of your vacuum, clean off the air vents on the outside of the computer case, the monitor, and the keyboard (and the docking station if you have a laptop). Then, gently vacuum out the dust from inside the case. This is not a detailed spring cleaning; go lightly and quickly (it should take you less than 30 seconds).

5. Independent “Health Check”

At least once every 18 months, if not yearly, ask someone you trust, or who comes recommended, to do a “health check” of your systems and processes. Think of this as your 10-point check or other type of review you might subject your car to prior to a big trip. You want this done by an IT professional who is a generalist, not someone specialized in a particular aspect like backup software or databases or who has a solution in need of a problem. You want personalized advice focused on your technology, nonprofit, and environment.

For recommendations, look on the Web at generalist IT and consulting professional societies like Independent Computer Consultants Association (ICCA), Society of Professional Consultants (SPC) or Institute of Management Consultants USA (IMC USA), as well as N-TEN or TechSoup.

If you want to try tackling the “health check” on your own or if you are uncertain about what to keep an eye on with different IT professionals and technology service firms, I recommend the following 10 items for the core health check.

“Cold-Start” Check
Just as cars frequently display symptoms upon startup, so do computers. To the trained ear, a high-pitched whine or inconsistent grinding noise can quickly identify a failing monitor, fan, or hard drive. The cold-start (or “cold-boot”) process starts up the computer from a completely powered-off state, skipping any welcome or other splash screens to look for error messages that may appear during startup and to listen for any warning beeps or other sounds.

On-line Performance Checks
Cars can be hooked up to automated diagnostic utilities to quickly see any issues, and so can computers. First, go online to a free antivirus or spyware scanner, such as those provided by Trend Micro. Next, go to a PC diagnostics site like PC Pitstop and run the free full tuneup. Print out the site’s suggestions to consider later.

Error Logs
In Windows XP, check all three default Event Viewer logs for errors or warnings. Copy and paste the errors and warnings into a plain text file and print this out. Then delete the log entries.

Isolation
Disconnect the computer from the network or Internet and exit all programs like Instant Messenger, virus-scan, and so forth.

Temp File Cleaning
Run Windows XP’s Desktop Clean-Up. This only cleans out the temporary files created by the person logged on at the time, however; many others are left to build up. A file and folder search for files named “~*.*” will find the rest. Most files beginning with a tilde (~) can be safely deleted.

Defragment and “Warm-Start”
Defragment the computer’s hard drive twice in a row, then reboot the computer checking for errors, warning beeps, and other telltale noises. This tests the computer’s restart ability. Check the Event Viewer for any errors or warnings that haven’t already been captured.

Inventory
Download, install, and run BelArc’s BelManage or other inventory and software checking utility. (I often recommend BelArc because its software is straightforward; its stand-alone, non-commercial version is free; and it provides charitable software donations to nonprofits.) Make sure to print out this report.

Updates
Using the report you printed in Step 7, check for and install all the updates recommended by both the report and the software manufacturer, including software patches and drivers.

Troubleshoot
Once you’ve installed the updates, restart and check the logs again for errors or warnings; this time, you’ll want to capture and print any that are left so that you can troubleshoot them. As appropriate, make sure to back up the computer’s data first.

Test Drive
Finally, take the computer for a test drive, starting it up the same way the user does in the morning, opening email, the word processing application, Internet, and so on to ensure no errors are present and nothing is unusual from the user’s perspective.

Additional items to consider during the “health check” include viewing and documenting configurations of common software, network settings, and other configurable options. Problems standardizing these configurations on computers in the same environment typically indicate issues either with the computer or with the network.

Final Thoughts

If your organization has more than 30 computers, you may find it challenging to consistently take time away from your mission to devote to this maintenance routine. If this is the case, consider asking for help from a local technology service provider or an independent IT contractor. Likewise, if you are uncomfortable handling this maintenance, treat it no differently than your car and seek help from a professional.

I have laid out the core ten items in the annual “health check” process so that you can use the process as a benchmark for a provider’s quality of work prior to any long-term commitment. You may also want to review ICCA’s 10 Tips on Hiring a Computer Consultant.

Just as you can expect to get a long, useful life out of your car by following the recommended maintenance schedule, following these simple guidelines will help you get the best benefit out of the technology you have for the least cost.

Printer Cartridges

Printer cartridges are one of the most expensive accessories for your computer. If you tend to print often, you may be shelling out a lot of money for printer ink. If you want to start saving money on printer cartridges, consider following Tips.

1) Print out a page at least once a week. Printer cartridges tend to dry up quickly when they sit unused. Printing the occasional page prevents you from having to replace the cartridges as often.

2) Preview your text first. Proofreading your documents before you print can help you use less printer ink and buy fewer cartridges and help you to same money.

3) Purchase a generic printer cartridge brand. Avoid the name brand cartridges; the generic brands are typically half the price.

4) Invest in an ink refill kit. Refillable cartridges allow you to simply buy the ink and refill the cartridges when the ink runs out.

5) Use the draft setting on your printer. This option makes the printer use less ink per printed page.

6) Select black ink to print your documents. You can save on printer cartridges by printing in color only when absolutely necessary.

Punctures are a messy thing to experience in an auto industries, be it on the move or when you walk out of the door to go to work and a flat tyre greets you first thing in the morning. Now auto mobile industries has the solution to this problems. Currently we have tubeless tyres in market to solve your flat tyre issues. Due to Tubeless Tyre revolution we got peace of mind as its nullify flat tyre issues causing due to punctures.

With tubeless tyres, punctures do happen but if you are one of the do-it-yourself types you do not need to fret and fume. Just get the puncture kit and repair the tyre in a few easy steps

Sample Tubless Tyre Repair Kit

STEP 1: On a tubeless tyre, air retention in case of a puncture is of a very high order. It doesn’t deflate immediately as in the case of a tubed tyre. Our test tyre had a nail in it but still was inflated. Identify such areas to get going on repair work.

Tubless Tyre Repair Step 1

STEP 2: Once you have located and marked the tear on the tyre, pull out the offending nail or foreign object.

Tubless Tyre Repair Step 2

STEP3: Once nail or foreign object is removed, Use a bit of the vulcanizing fluid at the visible entry point of the abrasion. One will have to cement the injury thoroughly using the spiral tool with the vulcanizing fluid using a clockwise rotating motion. Repeat the process at least thrice. Do take care to ensure you do not aggravate the tear.

Tubless Tyre Repair Step 3

STEP 4: Insert the Permacure rubber plug (after removing the blue poly cover) in the eye of the needle which needs to be inserted in the T-shaped tool for better leverage. Also a slight application of the vulcanizing fluid is suggested here. Take care that you do not dip the Permacure into cement can or tube. Unlike vulcanizing of tubes which requires a heat press and some filing, no such bothers here.

Tubless Tyre Repair Step 4

STEP 5: Place the tip of the needle in line with the open abrasion and then push the Permacure plug into the tyre until about 25 per cent of its length remains above the tread surface. See that the plug is right through and through and then pull out the needle from the tyre. Let it set and seal for about five minutes and then inflate the tyre – to manufacturer recommendation – and inspect the repair for more leaks.

Tubless Tyre Repair Step 5-1

Tubless Tyre Repair Step 5

STEP 6: Once inflated you can snip off the visible portion of the Permacure plug by a pair of scissors or cutter. In case the puncture is big and the Permacure plug has not completely sealed it, simply insert a second Permacure plug at the point of air seepage. This though will only be needed if the abrasion is large. Simple logical thought process will see you through this entire sequence.

I hope this guide will help you in fixing Punctures of your tubeless Tyres.

Pranayama aims at bringing the involuntary functions of the respiratory mechanism within human control. The term pranayama has been constituted by two words: Prana + Ayama. Prana is the vital force which pervades the whole cosmos. Prana is more subtle than air and can be defined as the energy essence that is within everything in the universe. Prana is the principle of development and sustenance both of the nervous and cellular tissues of the body and the mind.

In the process of breathing when the prana air is inhaled, definite action takes place. One is related to the ingestion of oxygen into the alveoli and the other to the ingestion of the nervous energy into the brain system.

Ayama means to control or to give a rhythm or a definite flow. In this sense Pranayama may be defined as a process and technique through which vital energy can be stimulated and increased: and this brings about perfect control over the flow of Prana within the body.

Pranayama is an exact science. Regulation of breathing, as a matter of fact, is natural. It hardly offers any scope of artificiality. The breath enters through the nose and depending on ones general health and strength of the lungs; it is retained inside and then is exhaled. This natural condition of intake and outflow of the breath goes on continuously and it is on this process that human life depends. The difference between this natural process and the ‘Pranayama’ is that in the former the inhalation and exhalation is not necessarily connected with the mind ; that process continues owing to the natural functioning of the heart and lungs. The inhalation and the exhalation are, hence, not of any set duration. In some person the inhalation may take a longer time than the exhalation and in some others the opposite may occur. In Pranayama, however, there is a systematic regulation of both the inhalation and exhalation. This is for the reason that the mind is joined to the action of inhalation and exhalation known as Puraka and Rechaka respectively in practicing the Pranayama. Hence their longer and shorter duration within a specified time has to be controlled. The result of this controlled inhalation and exhalation, both in respect of speed and time has a mere beneficial effect on the mind and the body than that of the natural process. Most of us who largely depend on the natural process will derive immense benefit on falling ill by controlled inhalation and exhalation. Such person should inhale slowly and exhale equally slowly in the beginning for 5 to 10 times depending on their strength and continue doing this morning and evening for 25 to 30 day. The natural inhalation is hence called “SWASHANA” or breathing and that inhalation and exhalation which is done extending time limit by applying the power of mind is called “DEERGHASWASHANA” or Pranayama.

Of the many wonderful pranayamas that Yoga gives us, Kapalbhati (aka Kapal Bhati) is one of my favorite breathing exercises. It is not at all complicated to do and yet, when done even for a short time consistently, it’s benefits are undeniable. If there was only one pranayama that you elected to do, Kapalbhati might well be the one to pick – it’s that good!

Kapalbhati of course dates back to the Yoga Sutras of Sage Patanjali, but recently its popularity has been revived by the work of Ramdev Swamiji. Kapalbhati is part of Ramdev Swamiji’s set of 6 pranayamas and the practice of this set has spread like wildfire across India as well as the rest of the world. Kapalbhati, in my view, is like the corner stone of this set and many of the absolutely unbelievable benefits that practitioners have been getting from practicing Ramdev Swamiji’s set, I am sure, can be attributed to this powerful breathing exercise.

Below are the details of Kapalbhati Yoga Pranayama.

Warning : Pranayama must be learnt under expert guidance and after consultation from your physician.

Benefits of Kapalbhati Yoga Pranayama (Kapal Bhati Breathing Exercise):

Primary:

* Works on the Heart Center (Anahat Chakra) and associated organs and systems of that region. Thus improving respiration, lung capacity and blood circulation. Kapalbhati helps cure associated diseases of this region (asthma, bronchitis etc).
* Works on the Naval Center (Manipura Chakra) and associated organs and systems of that regions. Thus improving digestion and elimination. Cures diseases and imbalances associated with this region such as indigestion, gas, diabetes, etc.

* Practiced over time, Kapalbhati Pranayama also helps reduce abdominal fat, fight obisiety, tone abdominal muscles and bestow core abdominal strength and power.

* From an emotional stand point Kapalbhati Pranayama puges the system of accumulated emotional debris such as anger, hurt, jealousy, hatred etc., thus dissolving the blockages and removing the imbalances such emotional history causes in the energetic pathways. The cleansing of the energetic pathways (nadis) increases the magnitude and flow of prana (life-force) and Kundalini Shakti (energy) throughout all regions of the body.

* From a mental stand point Kapalbhati Pranayama assists in throwing out all negative thoughts from the psyche. thus, helping to cleanse and illuminate the mind.

* From a body stand point Kapalbhati Pranayama should be used to eject any illnesses, diseases, weaknesses from the body thus allowing it grow in health, vitality and vigor.

Secondary:

* Generates heat in the system to help dissolve toxins and waste matter.

* Adds luster and beauty to your face.

Cautions for Kapalbhati Yoga Pranayama (Kapal Bhati Breathing Exercise):

If you feel dizzy or nauseous you should slow down the force and pace of Kapalbhati pranayama or stop entirely and return to normal breathing.

* If you have acid or heat related gastric issues such as ulcers you should use caution with Kapalbhati Pranayama.

* Kapalbhati is not to be practiced by those suffering from high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke or epilepsy.

How To Do Beginner’s Kapalbhati Yoga Pranayama (Kapal Bhati Breathing Exercise):

To practice this breathing exercise sit up in a comfortable position, cross legged is best.

* Elongate your spine upwards, lengthen your neck and subtly bring your chin back and in like a soldier at attention. This will align the spine with the back of your head.

* Close your eyes.

* Have your hands in Gyan Mudra. In Gyan Mudra have your thumb tips and index finger meeting, with the wrists resting gently on the knees and the palms turned slightly upwards.

* Relax your stomach muscles.

* Now expel the air as forcefully as you are comfortable with through the nose. This should cause the abdominal muscles to contract sharply and should draw the abdomen inwards towards the spine (like when you suck in your stomach). Then allow the inhalation to occur completely passively without any additional effort. To repeat, the exhalation is done using conscious sharp force, while the inhalation is just a recoil action bringing the air back into the lungs. All the breathing takes place through the nose. Right after the passive inhalation, exhale again forcefully and continue at a steady rhythm.

* Do a round of 10 repetitions.

* Work your way up to doing 5 rounds, while taking a break between each round.

* Practice Note: Unlike doing Bhastrika Yoga Pranayama you use force during both the inhalation and the exhalation, in Kapalbhati force is only to be used during the exhalation.

How To Do Intermediate Kapalbhati Yoga Pranayama (Kapal Bhati Breathing Exercise):

Once you feel comfortable with the Beginner’s version of Kapalbhati Yoga Pranayama, perform the breathing exercise with more force if possible and also increase the number of repetition per round to 50. You may also prefer to do a single round, but, with many more repetitions instead (up to 5 minutes worth)

How To Do Advanced Kapalbhati Yoga Pranayama (Kapal Bhati Breathing Exercise):

Build up to doing this pranayama for 15 minutes straight or equivalent number of rounds with more repetitions per rounds.
Secret of Kapalbhati Yoga Pranayama (Kapal Bhati Breathing Exercise):

The secret of the success of Kapalbhati Yoga Pranayama lies in where your mind is when doing this terrific breathing exercise. If you need to cure your body, then with every exhalation imagine that disease is being purged from your system. If you need to regain emotional balance, then again, with every exhalation visualize the negative emotions or weaknesses being thrown out of your system. If negative thoughts are the issue, let every exhalation expel them from your heart and mind.

The power of the mind has been well documented, you are read about some of it’s incredible capability in this article Mind Power to Manifest Intentions & Desires Instantly, so use your mind to help you accomplish that which you have intended and unleash the full potential of Kapalbhati Yoga Pranayama.
