Dell tries Chromium OS

DellChrome? word seems strange, right? Dell engineers have been playing with Chromium OS, released by Google. In the post, Mr. Doug Anson said, he and a few of his colleagues decided to try to get Chromiume OS running on a Dell Mini 10v netbook. He further said, “Without a network connection, Chromium OS is not very interesting,But With a network connection, Chromium OS shines.” In July, Google said that its Chrome OS team was working with Acer, Adobe, ASUS, Freescale, Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, and Toshiba.
Google is waiting to see the greatest experiments on Chromium OS, which is absolutely free and complete open source.

Google Chrome OS will be ready for consumers this time next year. Google released a post about the new Google Chrome OS. The details about the post is given below.
Today we are open-sourcing the project as Chromium OS. We are doing this early, a year before Google Chrome OS will be ready for users, because we are eager to engage with partners, the open source community and developers.

Windows 7 is the most recent publicly available version of Microsoft Windows. Windows 7 has placed smile on windows users, who were crying due to bad performace of Vista. Windows 7 is fast, quick n clean devide. The most attractive features is, you will not have to install any hardware drive, because it has already been included in the OS itself.

Windows 7 also includes a number of new features, such as touch and handwriting recognition, virtual hard disks, improved multi-core processors & boot performance. A new Control Panel includes gadgets, recovery, troubleshooting, workspaces, biometric devices, display color wizard, text tuner and system icons.
In windows 7, users will have the ability to remove Internet Explorer and other select Microsoft programs. On the Microsoft blog they wrote “In Windows 7 we are expanding the number of features you have control over in this regard, giving customers more control, flexibility and choice in managing the features available in this version of Windows.”
